The star appeared lovely and oh so cozy and comfortable on the famous Cannes Film Festival stairs but when she raised her steller gown to walk down the steps, her footwear was exposed.

It was a pair of black-toned flip-flops and the star had no trouble showing them off or walking in them. She was an absolute pro at handling the media and the press afterward too when they seemingly called her out.

But as you can imagine, Twitter was abuzz. People had plenty to say and called the star out for the act. They claim that these were not the steps of her home nor were they some ordinary event.

It was the Cannes Film Festival and the right footwear should have added a touch of elegance and class to the entire ensemble and not chunky flip-flops.

Fashion critics called for her stylist to be fired but the majority of the consensus was that the celeb probably opted for the footwear herself and failed to follow the orders of a stylist.
