Dua Lips has a new French man in her life and she’s making sure the world knows about him.
The star opted to debut her lover Romain Gavras at the Cannes Film Festival as the duo wore matching black outfits and appeared sensational and very much in life while posing for shutterbugs.
But it appears that not everyone approved of the lovebirds including the singer’s former lover Anwar Hadid who is the brother of sister supermodel duo Gigi and Bella Hadid.
It can be said without a doubt that the post was most certainly cryptic from each angle. But the real question was related to who was it actually intended for. And one day later, the star was seen clarifying his stance as people started to worry for him from all parts of the industry.
Anwar started to receive all sorts of criticism on the matter. People felt the rage stemming from the fact that his beautiful ex and leading singer Dua Lipa made her debut with a new man for the first time at the high-profile Cannes Film Festival.
“He’s jealous, his post is just pure rage and jealousy”- mentioned one fan and the others couldn’t help but agree more.
Anwar says the world of social media and the internet was to blame for the way his message was portrayed. He clarified that it had nothing to do with Lipa or her new man.
He was happy for the couple and claimed to have moved on but still, fans did not feel that was the case.
The 23-year-old fashion model slammed critics and trolls and said they had a lot of free time on their hands to make up shit without knowing anything about it.
“Stop making assumptions about me that do not exist!”- he went on to conclude.
