A mother from Florida has been accused of two felony charges after doing the unthinkable.
The suspect allegedly left her two young kids inside a vehicle that reportedly caught on fire. During that time, she was busy shoplifting and had no care in the world of what was happening to them.
Therefore, the cops did not hesitate in terms of arresting her and charging her for the heinous act that reportedly took place a few days back.
The mother was identified as 24-year-old Alicia Moore who admitted the horrifying crime. Thankfully, both the young children managed to survive. However, sources have gone on to reveal how one of them suffered from terrifying first-degree burns.
The incident reportedly took place at the Oviedo Mall in Orlando, Florida and that’s where the vehicle happened to be parked in the parking lot.
The mother was witnessed shoplifting with another male by her side at Dillard’s. But little did she know that her own vehicle would suddenly catch on fire during his criminal act.
Seeing the horrifying scenes unfold, she quickly dropped her merchandise and ran toward her car. She was seen fleeing the department store when terrifying scenes comprising of her car catching on fire were unveiled. This had been revealed by the media outlet.
As per reports from NBC News, both the kids were not only able to survive but managed to attain quick first aid efforts thanks to a hospital in the nearby vicinity.
It’s all thanks to assistance from bystanders that this was able to take place. Another report revealed how the mother’s child suffered terrible burns to the face and the ears. But thankfully, she did manage to escape in the end.
