A wedding event is supposed to be one of the happiest moments in any couple’s life but this next story just might make you think otherwise.
A loving duo was forced to witness a heartbreaking tragedy, just minutes after their wedding reception took place.
According to reports from local media outlets, the couple was all set to begin the next chapter of their lives together, moments after celebrating their big night of saying I Do and exchanging vows. But little did they know that fate and destiny had other plans in store for them.
Think along the lines of this couple being separated from one another forever. It was just so tragic and bizarre for so many people to witness the horror of a drunk driving incident arise. And that too, at a moment of sheer joy and happiness.
The police claim the couple’s wedding event was held at a beautiful resort. And they were all said to go on to their villa, shortly after saying goodbye to those that attending their wedding ceremony.
But then all of a sudden, a drunk driver came in from the wrong side and rammed straight into their golf cart. This led to the bride and groom sustaining the worst injuries.
The bride died on the spot while her husband is critically injured and fighting for his life in the hospital. But he is expected to survive, as revealed by medical experts treating him.
Their cart was not only pushed back 100 yards, due to the great speed of the vehicle which hit them. But it also ended up rolling over several times.
Those that saw it claimed it was one of the worst high-speed collisions they had ever come across in their lifetime and they feared for the worst because it would be hard to survive something like this, added another.
