This next story about a pensioner getting her first tattoo is making people laugh while others claim it melts their hearts.
A 77-year-old woman made history when she opted to fulfill her teenage dream by getting tattoos for the first time. And now, she’s going viral because that’s how cute her reaction to the whole incident appears to be.
77-year-old Helen Allen who hails from the United Kingdom says she has been a resident of the United Kingdom’s Foxland Grange Home. And she never knew that at this age, she would be getting tattoos at the speed that she is.
For years, she always wanted one, getting inspired by her own partner who used to be a biker. But she just never had the guts of doing so.
According to her, the pain that came with that was just a lot for her to bear. She worried if, at this age, she would have the pain tolerance to withstand the pressure. And in all honesty, this was something that just kept on holding her back, she explained.
But thankfully, she got the courage to do it and today she has got zero regrets, whatsoever.
For her design, she chose a small butterfly that was etched so beautifully across her arm. She feels that it’s about time that she followed her dreams and did what she wanted to do. After all, life is short, she continued to mention.
“I don’t know why I did not get it done sooner. I just love that feeling of doing things on your own terms and falling in love with the choices that you make”- she explained.
Not only does this pensioner have plans of getting more tattoos, but she also says that she is going to start living her life on her own terms because it’s about time, she adds.
