Singer Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she will no longer carry out any more music tours.
The celeb was quick to mention how she does not wish to live her life according to the wills and desires of others. Similarly, she wrote how she was no longer interested in carrying out any more music tours too.
All in all, the star explained how she is really starting to find her true self and she’s been through a lot in her past. This includes the star being through a series of relationship turmoils as well.
The news caused a major uproar on social media for obvious reasons. She’s a young and energetic performer who has a huge fan base across the US. So as you can imagine, it was likely that this would happen.
But the reason why that was put forward by her has people upset. She seemed to be awfully selfish and rude about the whole matter.
She says that mental peace and stability are something she has longed for so many years. She added how she’s been through so much and is now willing to take a break and put herself first instead of always pleasing people.
The 30-year-old is now focusing more on her putting out albums and not touring right now or anytime in the future.
Others slammed the star and said she needed to take a piece of humble pie and lessons from bigger artists like Taylor Swift that would do anything for their fans.
Twitter was abuzz with the news. So many people were disappointed and felt that perhaps the heat of the moment may have overwhelmed her and you never know, she would change her mind in the future.
