The cops in Philadelphia are on a frantic search after six young kids reportedly went missing in a span of just one week.

According to reports from local media outlets, the cops are launching an emergency search because they feel this is not only bizarre but a huge mystery and they do not believe that the incidents are related as well.

The news has left several families in a state of absolute and complete shock and devastation as the authorities have been urged to do more for the safety and protection of the younger members of the state.

Sources from local media outlets mentioned how the police have stated that the ages of the children range between 12 to 16 and it’s just bizarre how it’s happened in this manner.

The kids were reported missing various districts, the cops added and this was between April 23 to April 30, they continued.

The Philadelphia Police Department is now coming under fire from citizens and the victims’ families for not doing enough or not cracking the mystery with the help of other agencies. Instead, they just tried to brush off the topic by mentioning how it’s just become a sad problem in today’s day and age.

“How can they expect us to just sit around and do nothing? Someone needs to take some accountability for this behavior before it’s too late”- they went on to add.
