The Spanish Soccer Federation head Luis Rubiales has reportedly refused to resign after some very offensive actions at the recently held Women’s World Cup Final.

According to reports from local media outlets, the famous individual was seen planting a kiss on the lips of a star female player from the team after a goal. And that not only took her by surprise, it led to a revolt across the board with many teams and players refusing to continue until they saw him resign.

The incident took place after she collected her medal following the 1-0 win over England. This match was held in the Australian city of Sydney recently and since then, it’s turned into a very controversial affair for obvious reasons.

Rubiales sparked even more controversy when footage showed him grabbing his crotch while standing near the Queen of Spain and her teenage daughter. And he’s now branding detractors as idiots and blaming fake feminism as the leading cause of stirring up drama that was not necessary at this point in time.

“I am not going to resign. I am going to fight until the end because I have done nothing wrong!”- he continued to mention during his charged speech after an emergency meeting was called regarding the incident by federation officials.

But his constant refusal to resign is getting condemnation across the board. Both men and women players from the Spanish side have threatened to quit the national team in protest of the incident and would continue until he is sacked from his leading position, media outlets have confirmed.
