Weddings can be a stressful affair and this next story is proof of just that and more.
One couple is sharing their heartbreak with the world after they ended up going into a significant amount of loss because most of the guests that RSVP for their wedding event failed to show up.
The couple says that the damages were over $27,000 and that’s just not how they wished to start their happy journey together. But somethings are just meant to be and they were devastated when all the people calling to reserve their attendance just felt it was okay to not show up without giving them a heads-up.
“We were so shocked. This was our wedding. We understand if there’s an emergency but to RSVP and not come is just so heartbreaking”- the bride revealed.
The bride went viral when she shared the incident on her social media app of TikTok. According to her, 88 people promised and confirmed they would come but out of those, just 44 opted to show up.
And you can only imagine what it must have felt like, she continued. An empty venue featuring so many chairs and tables with no one in attendance. The couple says they had made arrangements accordingly but what they received in return was beyond heartbreak.
The young couple was on the verge of tears as they were seen trying to accept the reality of the situation and move on. “But with something like this at stake, it’s hard to forget that you’ve wasted thousands of dollars on something that really means a lot to us”- the bride added.
“This is our hard-earned money”- she continued.
The clip went viral on social media and gained more than 8 million views from all kinds of people who felt sorry for the couple and wished them the best for the future.
