A mother is sharing with the world why she opted to put her daughter’s final moments online.
Grieving the loss of a loved one is one of the toughest things to endure in a lifetime and this mother is sharing her tragedy with the world.
She says that nothing can be worse than losing the child that you adore the most and for her, it’s been like a rollercoaster of emotions. And while most people are private about the ordeal, this mom is explaining why she chose to be more public about her daughter’s story.
Zoey Catherine was born as a healthy child and during the time of her birth, her parents were over the moon at her little arrival. But little did they know about the tough journey that lay ahead.
But after the age of 5, she suddenly fell down while outside with her mother.
Before she knew it, she just could not stand or walk still. She started to limp and walk. And her parents obviously got worried. They worried about the injuries and if it was something serious. And that’s when they took her to the hospital for some tests.
The doctors realized that that matter was way more complex than it appeared. The entire left side of her body was not working. And on that note, they found out she was suffering from a brain tumor.
And three weeks later, her condition was diagnosed as DIPG which is like a death sentence. She was not given much time to live as the medical was just too complicated.
Despite asking for more opinions from health experts all around, they were told there was no hope. And now, she’s raising more awareness on the matter.
“I shared it because it changed our lives forever. It was not only a painful moment but a beautiful memory that our child was destined to lead a short life and she will stay in our hearts till eternity”- the mom adds.
