The news comes after the bombshell lawsuit arose against the family that was featured in The Blind Side.

The bombshell lawsuit had some people urging the cinema industry to take notice and stop giving celebs such as Sandra Bullock a privileged entity. They felt the time had come to step in and strip the star away from her Oscar.

For those who are still unaware, the heartwarming tale of the Tuohy family and the way their relationship alters with Michael Oher in the film ended up taking a bizarre turn as they’re now part of a legal battle.

Oher claims the much-acclaimed film did not depict the family’s side of the story in the right manner. And now, they’re engaged in a legal battle that has them upset for obvious reasons.

But others were also quick to step in and mention how the film really did fail miserably at showcasing the exact nature of the relationship and bonds which were most important. And not having leading celebs like Sandra Bullock stand up has made them even more upset.

The Tuohys claim they’re now being accused of misleading and forcing Oher to enter into a conservatorship, rather than making the most of a formal means for adoption.

And that meant they were allegedly reaping his major benefits and gains attained, as reported by sports media outlet ESPN recently.

Therefore, the movie that earned actress Sandra Bullock an academy award has turned into the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons. It is now under intense scrutiny and people want the star ripped away from her fame and recognition for the film.
