A female bus driver suddenly lost consciousness while driving a full house number of young passengers aboard. But before things took a turn for the worst, a young student managed to step in and save the day.

It was all thanks to this brave and bold seventh-grader who took control of the bus’s steering wheel and managed to bring the vehicle to a stop safely. And many people are now paying tribute to his wonderful efforts that prevented any serious damage from taking place.

The young boy was identified as Dillon Reeves who suddenly got the thought of taking the situation into his own hands and helping out, keeping passengers and other witnesses in absolute shock.

The student who goes to school in Michigan just opted to grab the wheel of the bus and similarly pressed on the brake while going home from his school during the afternoon hours of Wednesday.

This was confirmed by the school’s superintendent who added that the behavior not only shocked his teachers and other staff members but the police too. With zero driving experience, he just jumped in and behaved in such a heroic manner which is rare.

A statement regarding the incident was shared online. This is where authorities revealed that the school bus driver suddenly started to feel unwell.

She became lightheaded all of a sudden and just collapsed to the ground. And that made the young boy step in to save the day.

The police department and all the parents of those onboard have paid their tribute and honored the young child for his bravery. He was praised and showered with love as many thanked him for doing so much in such little time.
