Despite many people’s reservations, NBA superstar player Michael Jordan’s son Marcus is all set to tie the knot.

The 32-year-old is ready to begin a new chapter of his life with 49-year-old socialite Larsa Pippen, amid great criticism and reservations from across the board.

The news comes amid great controversy because the last time we heard, Michael Jordan did not approve of Larsa as the right woman or candidate for marriage for his son.

He felt her background and past history screamed red flags all over and he wished his son would realize that before entering this new chapter in his life. But shocking reports about the pair moving on to the next chapter arose when Pippen was seen debuting a huge rock on her ring finger.

The duo has been romantically involved for the past year but not a lot of people felt the feelings were genuine on their bond. Hence, they took every opportunity to bash the celebs and call them out.

Most others felt the age gap was too much for the relationship to last and then there were some who claimed Larsa was only in it for the money and fame and nothing else.

The pair made their relationship on Instagram official this year in January and that in itself brought about plenty of criticism from fans and trolls who called the pair out as the most mismatched couple in the entertainment industry.

Let’s not forget how Larsa is notoriously famous for her past relationship with former NBA star Scottie Pippen but that did not end on a good note as well.

When Michael Jordan was asked a few weeks back whether or not he approved of his son’s choice of a woman for a relationship, he blatantly said no. And that took a lot of people by surprise.

However, Marcus did not seem too bothered by what his dad had to mention and just opted to ignore him.
